How does it work?

The EDS® Rejuvenate treatment is an electronic, micro-needling procedure that creates thousands of tiny needle marks in the skin. This forces your body to repair and regenerate new collagen fibers. This process can stimulate the formation of new collagen, new cells and enhance skin structure. The eDermastamp device, a medical-grade version of the EDS® Rejuvenate system is used by your practitioner to carry out the procedure.

The Procedure

The EDS® Rejuvenate procedure is comfortable, but your practitioner will numb the treatment area with a topical anesthetic beforehand. They will then use the eDermastamp to produce thousands of micro-needle columns in your skin, using a serum as lubricant. The treatment lasts 60 minutes, depending on how large the area being treated is.

After your EDS® Rejuvenate treatment, you may have moderate sunburn-like skin and feel warmer or tighter. Your practitioner may apply a post-procedure product to assist in the recovery process.

Your practitioner will suggest a course of EDS® Rejuvenate treatments, but expect at least three with approximately 6 weeks between each.

Pre/Post Treatment Advice?

Prior to any aesthetic treatment, you should avoid using products that can irritate your skin.

After your treatment, avoid excessive exposure to UV rays and artificial light for at least two weeks. Apply a high-SPF (Sun Protection Factor) broad spectrum sunscreen every day during this period—even on cloudy days. After your EDS® Skin Rejuvenation treatment, it is important to maintain healthy new skin by following the recommendations of your practitioner.

Results

It may take a few months before you begin to see results. The effects of the treatment will be long lasting, however, so don't worry if it takes some time for you to notice improvements.
